Financial
The City's operations is funded with General Fund revenue. Revenue is generated from property tax, sales tax, franchise tax, fines, and user fees from water and sewer. The City's operating fiscal year begins October 1st and ends September 30th. Public hearings on the budget and property tax rate are held in late August or early September.
